Hi,

I am new to SU2 and after installation, I tried to run the test file naca0012. I have copied the cfg and su2 files to a directory and run SU2.CFD.exe with cfg file, but I get "SU2_CFD.exe has stopped working" when solver starts.

Any idea what maybe wrong in Windows or in cfg file.

Many thanks,

Hey, I'm trying to simulate a inviscid supersonic case of my model. Everytime I try to run the solver, I get a similar message that the SU2_CFD has stopped working and windows is trying to find the solution to the problem and the program closes. Would like to know what could be a possible cause. I have attached a screenshot of the message.

There are many reasons for this problem. Whether did you modify the code?

No. I didn't.

However, the program started recognizing the mesh, when I enabled 'Save all (ignore physical groups)' option, while exporting the SU2 mesh from Gmsh.
Thank you for the quick response. Could you also explain what this option does ?
