Display .su2 mesh

Hello,

I have recently started using SU2 for my research work. I have the following question:

How to display SU2 mesh?
There are lots of test cases provided, each having .su2 meshe(s). I wish to see the meshes without running the simulation. How can I do that? I know that after I run the simulation, I can see the mesh in the flow solution file (by opening it in Tecplot)

Thanks,

Mandar

Thanks for your interest in SU2. The SU2 native format is very similar to Tecplot or Paraview ASCII formats (you can always code a small python script).

Anyway, a quick way to visualize a SU2 mesh is to run SU2_MDC with
DV_KIND= NO_DEFORMATION
VISUALIZE_DEFORMATION= YES

Best,
Francisco
