Solvers for Plasma

I want try out some problems regarding SDBD plasma actuator in SU2. To solve this multi-phase flow, where should I look for multi-phase solver to develop the plasma solver? If there is existing solver for plasma can you please guide me to use it or share some tutorial?

Hello Sachchit,
I'm not sure exactly what you're asking for, so please forgive me if I don't directly answer your question. We have some capability for solving chemically reactive gas mixtures in thermochemical nonequilibrium -- the modeling is specific to hypersonic environments. If this is a good starting point, then you can reference all of the "TNE2" files in the source code repository. At this time, the TNE2 solver is still in development and we do not have any tutorials. If you want to use it, send me a PM and I can give you a configuration and a mesh file, but please be aware that it is not a polished part of the source code at this time. -Sean |
