hi,
I am new to cfd... I was running testcase incomp_euler NACA0012 I am getting conservative_1, conservative_2 ........ pressure zero at freestrem can anyone please help, how to convert this to actual velocity and pressure distribution... |

Hi Chandan,
for the incompressible solver the conservative variables are pressure, velocity_x, velocity_y, velocity_z. The pressure is always non-dimensionalized using the dynamic free-stream pressure and measures deviations from the free-stream pressure. That is, the non-dimensional pressure p is defined as p = (p* - p*_inf)/(rho_inf*u_inf^2) where the * indicates dimensional values and inf values at the free-stream. And since p* = p*_inf at the free-stream boundary, the pressure p is zero there. |
