Did any one ran test cases of fea_fsi in SU2?

If yes then please share hpw did you plotted results (cfd and structure results) in tecplot or paraview

any clarification of help would be much appreciated

I just ran test case in FSI tutorial section given by SU2 and I did generated similar mesh (matching mesh). Results are in agreement with SU2 team as expected.
For non-matching mesh the deformation is not smooth (step-like or kinks are present). Displacement plots are in agreement with the published result but not the deformation (please see attached figure). Mesh at T=0 is given in figure below "cfd-mesh_mesh". In this journal
HTML Code:
paperhttps://www.eccomas2016.org/proceedings/pdf/6597.pdf (see figure 26)
they SU2 team say that if we use CONSISTCONSERVE INTERPOLATION the deformation would be smooth.
I have used KIND_INTERPOLATION= CONSISTCONSERVE in .cfg file

I want to know whether I have followed correct procedure to use interpolation method by using interpolation method in .cfg file or else should I compile code with CONSISTCONSERVE as default method for interpolation method?

deformation plot is at T=4 sec

Any help or suggestion would be much appreciated

Hi,

probably not related to your enquiry at all but I was wondering what mesher did you use for this? I'm also quite new to SU2 FSI and would like to understand exactly how the solver reads the two different zones (solid and fluid).
