Code capability for hypersonic flow case TNE2
 

Hello,

I am testing the capability of SU2 by solving a simple Argon flow over the RAMC in hypersonic flow regime. Got some errors after submitting the case as follows:

GAS_MODEL: invalid option name. Check current SU2 options in config_template.cfg.
REF_PRESSURE: invalid option name. Check current SU2 options in config_template.cfg.
REF_TEMPERATURE: invalid option name. Check current SU2 options in config_template.cfg.
REF_DENSITY: invalid option name. Check current SU2 options in config_template.cfg.
CONV_NUM_METHOD_TNE2: invalid option name. Check current SU2 options in config_template.c

So I guess the new version of code SU2 does not support the case anymore right? What can I do?

Dear Paul,

Unfortunately the TNE2 capability is not supported anymore and the implementation is incomplete.

The github branch feature_AdjTNE2 was the most updated one. It would be great if you want to work on this topic. If the answer is yes, then the best starting point is feature_AdjTNE2.

Thanks so much for your clarification and that really helps to make life easier. I will check out that branch and try to see how it works. I will let you know if I make some progress.
