Hello,
First, thank you to all the contributors of SU2 and this forum! I would like to have your feedback concerning my study : I need to impose a non-uniform field of temperature on an airfoil (this is in a 2D computation). In my mind, the best option would be to have the possibility to define this boundary condition in specifying a file (for example) in which the temperature is written for each point of the airfoil boundary. If I’m not mistaken, this feature does not exist natively in SU2. Thus, I have discretized my airfoil shape into n small segments Ln that I have defined as markers in the mesh file. In the configuration file I get this : % Navier-Stokes (no-slip), isothermal wall marker(s) (NONE = no marker) % Format: ( marker name, constant wall temperature (K), ... ) MARKER_ISOTHERMAL= ( L1, T1,....... Ln, Tn ) % % Farfield boundary marker(s) (NONE = no marker) MARKER_FAR= ( farfield ) % Marker(s) of the surface to be plotted or designed MARKER_PLOTTING= ( L1,......Ln) % % Marker(s) of the surface where the functional (Cd, Cl, etc.) will be evaluated MARKER_MONITORING= ( L1,.......Ln) For the moment this is not working, the computation stops with the following error message : "85331, 0.0017285331, 0.0017285331, 0.0017285331, 0.001728533:24068 terminated with signal 11 at PC=3d5867e50e SP=7fff6dfd05d8. Backtrace: segmentation fault" Do you think the way I’m managing this boundary condition is correct? Thank you in advance, Regards, |
