there is a steady_inverse_design test case in the SU2 repository. can some one give an brief explanation about that? (what is the target airfoil) does TargetCP should have any specific format? and also about shape parametrization there are some variables that I can not understand. 1. FOURIER ( 14, Scale | Mark. List | Lower(0)/Upper(1) side, index, cos(0)/sin(1) ) what is "index" in this specification? 2. DISPLACEMENT ( 5, Scale | Mark. List | x_Disp, y_Disp, z_Disp ) what is "x_Disp"? what is it dimension? 3. NACA_4DIGITS ( 4, Scale | Mark. List | 1st digit, 2nd digit, 3rd and 4th digit ) how this one works in shape parametrization? 4. SPHERICAL ( 3, Scale | Mark. List | ControlPoint_Index, Theta_Disp, R_Disp ) any explanation that how it works? 5. COSINE_BUMP ( 2, Scale | Mark. List | Lower(0)/Upper(1) side, x_Loc, x_Size ) what is "x_size" ? it would be great if one can advise some resources on these parametrization methods, I cannot even find most of them in the literature thanks alot for helping Last edited by mlooti; May 21, 2016 at 07:53. |
