Hi,

In SU2, there's a tutorial on inviscid Supersonic Wedge. Now I would like to simulate viscous Supersonic Wedge. I tried to change:

PHYSICAL_PROBLEM from EULER to NAVIER_STOKES

For the boundary condition, I changed:

from

MARKER_EULER= ( upper, lower )

to

%MARKER_HEATFLUX= ( upper, 0.0, lower, 0.0 )

The solution diverges after a very short while.

Btw, what's the Euler BC? It's mentioned that:

The Euler wall boundary condition enforces flow tangency at the upper and lower walls.

So is it slip or no-slip condition?

What else do I need to change?

Thanks!

I found that I can use:

MARKER_HEATFLUX

or

MARKER_ISOTHERMAL.

But how do I overcome the divergence problem?

Reducing CFL does not help.

Error is :

There are 94 non-physical points in the solution.
There are 439 non-physical states in the upwind reconstruction.

I also realised that the grid is uniform, so it's not suitable for viscous simulations. I re-create another wedge grid which is non-uniform. I also added the Re no. Now it can run and converge but I think the results are wrong, since the cl is in the order of 1000.

If anyone know what else I need to change, pls let me know. Thanks.
