Hello,

I have installed SU2 v6.0.0 on my windows7 computer. I'm trying to do the tutorial examples but in most cases I get Config_Parsing errors such for the INC_Density_INIT , INC_Velocity_INIT, CONV_NUM_METHOD_FLOW...

Are those errors related to the fact that windows uses SU2 V6.0.0 and the tutorial configs are for 6.0.2 ?

If so is there a repository with 6.0.0 tutorials ?

There shouldn't be an issue between v6.0.0 and v6.0.2 config files. CONV_NUM_SCHEME_FLOW is still used. Could you post your config file so we can take a more detailed look?

Dear Wally,

Many thanks for your prompt reply. I'm using the unmodified lam_backwardstep.cfg and corresponding mesh from the Laminar backstep tutorial. (https://su2code.github.io/tutorials/Inc_Laminar_Step/). I'm running it with the sequential binary executable version of SU2 on my window 7 PC.
See the attached picture for the error I am getting.

Hi Karim,

I took a look quickly, and i think your original thought was correct. I believe the config file you are using is for a more updated version of SU2 (v6.2?).

You can check the config_template.cfg :

If you go to the tutorials page:

https://github.com/su2code/su2code.g...io/tree/v6.0.0

you can see the available cases you can run. If you wish to switch the version of SU2 files, you can use the drop down message (i think it is initially branches) and change the "Tag" to whichever version you would like to see.
