Hi everyone,
I am trying to reproduce this [1] test case for an APC 10x7 propeller, but using SU2 instead of FLUENT. In short, the case is that I want to define a far field stationary domain, and a disk rotating domain for the propeller. For this purpose, I tried to modify the Caradonna test case, but it includes the rotating frame only. I am not able to include the stationary domain. Is there an idea on how to go over this? Is it possible to define these two domains in su2? Regards, Mahd [1] Ahmed, Hairuniza & Rajendran, Parvathy. Hi,
I am not entirely familiar with setting up these kind of problems, but I think it is possible to do so in SU2 as a multi-zone problem. There are some details on how to set up multi zone problems on the website here https://su2code.github.io/docs_v7/Multizone/ and there was also a presentation by Tobias during the SU2 conference which is available online (https://su2foundation.org/wp-content...6/Kattmann.pdf). Cheers. |
