Hi,
I use PARAVIEW to visualize results, and I am facing a peculiar problem in that neither paraview files nor solution files are not being written. However, the execution proceeds as expected.. I have made many simulations using SU2 and never had this issue. I am unable to locate the error. Any pointer/ help would be gladly accepted. I am attaching the CFG file Narahari |

Hi,
Please post the screen output of SU2. What version are you using? 7.0.3 like it says in the file? |

I ran the code for 50 iterations as before intermediate results are nor being written, but the solution files are written ONLY after completion of max number of iterations. This can be a problem if the solution takes 500-700 iterations.
In addition, PARAVIEW throws an error reading the .VTU files with a message about offset, I guess .VTK files would be better. I am attaching the full printout for clarity. Regards Narahari |

The option to write output files at smaller intervals is OUTPUT_WRT_FREQ (since v7.0.0).
There is a problem with the vtu output on Windows on versions 7.0.4/5/6, workarounds are given here: Problem opening vtu-file in Paraview |
