Hi all,
I have done a 3D mesh on Gmsh of a scramjet inlet. The inlet Mach number is 5.1.
I am in the process of writing the configuration file. Do you have any advice on configuration options to choose for this particular problem (3D, multigrid?, supersonic, compressible)?
Any input will be extremely valuable!
Thanks!!

Hi William,

Thanks for your post! This can be tricky getting things to converge, especially once you get to higher Mach numbers. I would stay away from Multigrid to start (can be finnicky). The type of simulation you run (Euler/NS/RANS) will help define your boundary conditions. If you still need more indepth help, Id be happy to walk though some options you have. If so, could you post your mesh/screen shot of your mesh.

Best,
Wally
