Forces Breakdown in all time steps

Hello SU2 users,

I am running a DES analysis on SU2 and I have saved output files (surface and flow vtu files, restart file and forces breakdown file) at each 20 iteration.

This output writing frequency is enough for restart and vtu files because of disc capacity restrictions in the cluster I am using. However, I want to save forces breakdown file at each iteration to collect the contributions of different markers in flight vehicle.

Is there a way to write in history file the aerodynamic coefficients contribution of separate markers at each physical time step?

If there is not, how can I write forces breakdown file at each time step without changing the writing frequency of vtu and restart files which are large in size unlike forces breakdown file?

Do you need the viscous/inviscid breakdown? Or just per-surface values? For the latter you can add AERO_COEFF_SURF to the HISTORY_OUTPUT

Thank you for your reply. I mean exactly the unique contribution of surfaces and AERO_COEFF_SURF solved my problem. However it would be nice to know if there is a way of separating self contribution of surfaces as inviscid and viscous terms.

No, that is only written to the breakdown file, for which the output frequency is the same as the normal file output.
