Hello,

I am running into issues with creating a recycled boundary layer. I have my periodic and donor markers set up in my domain as shown below. I would like to have the state at the donor plane used as the state at the periodic plane. My periodic boundary marker is set as:

MARKER_PERIODIC = (periodic_plane, donor_plane, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, x_translation, 0.0, 0.0)

However, when I run the simulation, I receive a notice of "Bad match point for point xxxxxxx. Nearest donor distance: x_translation" for all of the points on the periodic plane.

Obviously, SU2 sees that valid donor points are available at a distance of x_translation away. However, it is not recognizing donor_plane as a marker. My question is, why is my donor plane not registering as a valid marker? Is it because it's not actually on an outside boundary of the domain?

I have also tried using a multizone implementation with no luck. When I try following the methods shown in the tutorials page, I still receive errors because I am not defining my interfaces within the boundary conditions in my individual .cfg files (I tried the zonal implementation).

Any insight would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Problem has been solved. I had created a new domain and overwritten nodes in order to make my donor plane. Instead, a plane using the existing nodes in the block should be used. You can name the a plane that is the interface of two blocks in Pointwise by activating "Select Connections" when creating boundary condition names.
