CAA giving inverted/wrong results

Iam working on noise production from an airfoil(2D) at high angle of attack. Iam using SU2 for both the CFD part and CAA part.
The CFD part went smoothly with solutions that agree with literature, but when I try to propogate the noise from the airfoil surface using FWH. it gives me high noise near the farfiled(at around 200c) and low noise close to the airfoil ( 5 to 10c, c being the chord length of the airfoil). This trend is followed no matter what distance I choose. The noise keeps increasing with distance. Any ideas on what I could do to correct this? |
