Hello everyone,
While following the SU2 tutorial series' Design Features, specifically the case "Unconstrained shape design of a two-way mixing channel," I encountered an issue during the fourth step, Gradient Validation. My calculation results: ![]() However, the results provided on the website: ![]() The results from these two are vastly different, but the script seems to run normally without any error messages. ![]() After running the program according to the tutorial, the result is obtained in just one step (although no error messages are displayed, this result clearly isn't what was expected). ![]() Is there any issue here? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |

Fortunately, I found the mistake in the first problem. The error was caused by the inconsistency in the finite difference step size between the two scripts. In the gradient_validation.py script, the value was set to 1e-8, while in the postprocess.py script, I had set it to 1e-7 (forgive my oversight).
