Hello everyone!
When compiling in VSCode on Ubuntu, I noticed that sometimes when I specify the number of threads, some threads is not assigned any tasks. The specific issue is as follows: I used a total of three cases. In the first case, the grid size is very small, and when I specify more than 4 threads, one of the threads will not be assigned any tasks. In the second case, the grid size is medium, and when I specify more than 5 threads, it results in an error. In the third case, the grid size is large, and when I specify the maximum number of CPU cores, the computation runs normally. These issues occur when performing multi-zone computations. I'm looking forward to your reply. |

Could you give some more details regarding your set-up? What do you mean by "small", "medium", and "large" grid sizes? What kind of multi-zone computations are you running?

Thank you!The terms "small," "medium," and "large" grids were intended to refer to the grid sizes in my test cases. However, I have already found the root cause of the issue. Thank you for your response!
