hi guys, i want to do 2-way -coupling system (using transient structural- fluent)

in the input there's a pressure that increase little by little and attend 400000 pa

in reality it's supposed , that the fluid pushs the piston (whish have a stifness and a preload)

so i put layering method , and system coupling in output of fluid (which i define as a wall)

should i active 1dof to make wall able to translate ?

i appreciate your help

Hi,

I am working on a project using Static acoustic of Ansys. I have A disk with a shaft(solid domain-Steel) and a cylindrical fluid domain(Air or water). I defined my acoustic region as the cylindrical fluid and my structural region as the disk with the shaft and then I try to apply a force on the disk surface, and it doesn't work saying that ''This structural load should be defined on structural region'' although the disk is defined as structural region. I tried to apply loads on the same disk before and it worked very well. You can see the photo attached.

I appreciate your help
Thanks,
Angelo
