Dear friends,
I have a question. I tried to write data to csv file from Tecplot. I want to export a few variables. I use Tools > Write Data as Formatted Text. However, in the "choose variable", I can only see the coordinate axis. And it is not possible to select any variables. Actually, I have loaded these variables and they are visible in the plotted frame. Thanks! |

Hello,
The Write Data as Formatted Text File dialog only writes-out nodal variable values. In order to write out your variables, you can us Data>Alter>Specify Equations... and then create a nodal version of your duzz variable or other variables. Make sure to specify nodal in "Var Location" (see 3:35 in this video here: https://www.tecplot.com/2020/09/02/t...ics-equations/ ) Here is an example equation: {duzz_cc} = {duzz} |
