Greetings!
I have a Fluent Transient flow model with 100s of data files. I am trying to see if there is a way in Tecplot to write a script such that: * each file is loaded; * the desired contour plot on a pre-defined surface is created; * the contour plot is saved to a file. Is this possible in Tecplot? Thank you in advance for your input! |

The easiest way to do this task is to use Tecplot Chorus http://www.tecplot.com/products/tecplot-chorus/ which was created for this type of analysis, plus Chorus provides an environment where you can view and understand these 100s of files in one tool. You can download an evaluation version of Chorus here: http://www.tecplot.com/downloads/free-trial-software/ , and then contact me, and I will help you set up the project, create and view the results. Short videos showing the concept of how we would do this work can be found here: http://www.tecplot.com/products/tecplot-chorus/tecplot-chorus-video-tutorials/ .
BTW ... Tecplot Chorus is a superset of Tecplot 360, so one gets all the functionality of 360 in Chorus. Regards, Scott Rumage s dot rumage at Tecplot dot com |
