airfoil in tecplot

Hi all,

I have obtained rseults for incompressible flow over airfoil at angle of attack and I am using Tecplot as a postprocessing tool. In Tecplot, there is provision for including basic geometries like circle, square and ellipse into the plot window. Is there any way to import the coordinates of the airfoil, so that the geometrical shape can be included in the stremline or vorticity contour plot? thanks for your views..

Hi Sudhakar,

You should write a dat file and load it to Tecplot using a reader, I use the Tecplot data loader but I think that you can use any of them, depending of the format of the dat file.

This is a sample of a XY plot type.

x2 y2

x3 y3

x4 y4

x5 y5

x6 y6

x7 y7

x8 y8

x9 y9

x10 y10
