Triangulation

Hi everybody.. I am using Tecplot 360 EX 2014 Release 1. i come to know that before plotting streamtraces we have to triangulate the data.I have a doubt on triangulation. What is triangulation? whether it means to get intermidiate data by triangulating the domain or anything else. And also in Tecplot 360 EX 2014 i am not able to access triangulation. previously i got it from tecplot version 2005.

The current Tecplot 360 EX release currently does not have a UI to perform triangulation. However, the beta version for 360 EX does have this capability. So you have two options to access this feature:
1. Use a macro to triangulate (a sample macro is attached)
2. Join the Tecplot 360 EX beta community: http://www.tecplot.com/my/be-a-beta-tester/

Triangulation via the UI will be available in the next release of Tecplot 360 EX.

Regards,
Scott

The triangulation dialog is not available in 360 2014. It was removed for a short period of time, but is available in current releases.

If you're unable to update to a current release you can use the macro command macro script. See $!TRIANGULATE in the Scripting Guide.
