Hi all,
I have a .plt file which contains a 2d mesh and value of some variable (rho , rho u , rho v , rhoE) but when i contour plot it, only the first var is shown (rho). Do you know how to show others variables in Contour&Multi-Coloring Details ? For ex. 1->rho 2->rho u 3->rho v 4->rho E Thanks. |

This may be just a training issue. You might watch this tutorial: http://www.tecplot.com/blog/2014/10/24/context-style-control/ . At around the 2:35 mark the presenter shows the selecting of new contour variables.
BTW … all of the tutorials on this page: http://www.tecplot.com/blog/category/video/?product=360 are worth watching for a new user of Tecplot 360. Also, let me know if there are any subjects that you wish had a Tecplot tutorial. And as an fyi ... we will be releasing several more in the near future showing standard post-processing practices using the NASA ONERA M6 wing data -- so it can be worthwhile to go back to this page from time to time to see the latest releases.
