Create zone from self-defined geometries

Hi,

I'm new to Techplot 360. I wish to ask whether it is possible to create a zone via the geometries I created through polyline? I have tried the ordinary Data>Create Zone way. But I need to create a zone with a much complicated geometry, so I am thinking whether there is a way to create a zone with a self-defined shape. Besides, I have a 3D problem, and I find that it is somehow difficult to create a zone in the right place by using Data>Create zone. It came out in a location that is different to the location I input.

As you have experienced, Tecplot 360 does not have better way to create self-defined shape or zone than the “Data>Create Zone” (which is helpful for creating cubes and cylinders).

If one create them outside of Tecplot, and then load the zone/shape/geometry into Tecplot.
