Distributions of the shear stress in tecplot
 

Hello,

I have a question on the calculation of wall shear stresses in Tecplot. When I save my data files in Fluent and import them into Tecplot using the fluent data loader, three variables are loaded: wall-shear-stress-1, wall-shear-stress-2 and wall-shear-stress-3. How can calculate wall shear stress in Tecplot and plotted the distributions of the shear stress? I am very anxious because I do not know how to deal with it. I look forward to your reply. Is there any idea?

This is late but each one of those is a vector of shear stress.



total shear stress = sqrt({stress1}**2+{stress2}**2+{stress3}**2)

May i know how did you write the equation for each stresses on teplot?
