Hi everyone,
How to draw an inclined line in tecplot from data from file .plt? I want to draw an inclined line linking for example the two points (x;y)=(0.2;0.2) and (x;y)=(0.8;0.8) in side 2D square. Datas like this ones for a vertical line: GEOMETRY M=GRID, FC=WHITE,F=POINT 2 4 0.50 0.00 0.50 0.25 0.50 0.25 0.50 0.00 2 0.50 0.00 0.50 0.00 Thank you very much. |

Hi Akchmir,
Simply go to Data->Create Zone-> Rectangular Zone and enter (n,1,1) for the dimensions. n being the number of points along the line. Set 0.2 and 0.8 for the min/max of X and Y and click on Create. To visualize the line, turn the mesh on for the newly created zone. Best, Antoine |
