2D streamtrace and contour line order
1 Attachment(s)
I have a 2D contour plot (both flood and line) with streamtrace overlapping it. However, the streamtrace is somewhat dense and the contour line (the white one in the figure) seems poorly displayed. So what I want to do is to bring the contour line to the front. But I haven't find a proper solution after searching in google and Tecplot manual for a while. Any ideas?
Thank you. Siberia |
There's no "easy" way to do this, as Tecplot 360 has a predefined draw order for various objects. I think the best solution would be to use multiple overlaid frames, where the top frame has just the white contour displayed.
1) Duplicate the frame, such that you have two frames. 2) In the second frame, show only the white contour line and make the frame background transparent. 3) Use Frame Linking to force the two frames to be in the same position and have the same axis ranges. As long as the second frame is drawn above the first - you should get want you want. I hope this helps. |
