2D plot of temperature and velocity

Hello
I am relatively new in Tecplot. Therefore, the question is probably relatively simple. I have made a section through a 3D body (3D Fluiddomain). In the section plane I have the contour of the temperature displayed. Additionally I want to display the velocity vectors in that plane. But only the velocity in the y-z plane. I do not understand which vector variables I must select for it (U;V;W). Or how can I set the U vector to 0? Maybe this picture will help you with my problem.

To plot vectors you need the individual vector components. These are usually named something like: "U", "V", "W" or "X-Velocity", "Y-Velocity", "Z-Velocity". These should be assigned to the U,V,W fields in the Vector Details dialog.

So in your case I'd switch to the 2D Plot Type and assign Z & Y to the X- and Y-axes respectively. In 2D you only need to assign U&V vector components as well. So in your case I'd assign the "Z Velocity" vector component to U and and "Y Velocity" vector component to V.
