Showing axis on the opposite edge.

I have the results of a simulation which I want to compare with a reference paper. I want my plots to look as close as possible to reference. (Not the data but plotting). For that, I want to show the Y-axis on the edge as shown in the reference. When I am trying to tick on show on the opposite edge the ticks and labels are coming inside the domain and the plots don't look nice (Y-axis not visible).
Can anyone help me in solving this issue? It will be very helpful to me. Another issue- How can I convert units from 'm' to 'mm' in my plot as shown in reference? I am attaching figures for refeernce. One of them is of reference paper and the other shows the issue I am facing. Note- I am showing my plot using translucency so that you can understand what is the issue |
To convert your units to mm go to Data -> Alter -> Specify Equations.
You'll have to create a new variable that is equal to the old one multiplied by 1000. For example, the formatting for x would be: {x_mm} = {x) * 1000 Then change your plot to have the new variable on the axes. I'm not sure how to fix the graphic issue. Maybe it has something to do with the range of your data? |
Hello Shahid, could you share your plot with support@tecplot.com? They could take a look at it and give you some more information on the issue you are facing in plotting the y-axis.
