Hello,

I'm remoting into my workstation to work in Tecplot. I'm able to load the case and data files, but no frame appears. Strangely, I'm still able to set up the frame, select a contour, and export an image, but I can't see the frame or the data that I'm working with. The same issue occurs when I try to open a layout saved prior. This is the first time I'm encountering this issue, and I was curious if anyone has run into the same problem and came up with a solution? Thanks in advance.

This can happen if the hardware graphics drivers aren't sufficient. Try running with the '--mesa' command-line flag. This will use software rendering, which is slower, but should solve these issues.

Thanks,

Thanks for the reply. I'm running on Windows 11 and, after going through my display settings and graphics settings, this doesn't appear to be an option. Any other ideas?

Ok - I made the assumption that you were remoting to a Linux machine.

For Windows:
1) Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date.
2) If they're up to date and still have issues, see the section that mentions copying 'opengl32.ll' into the 'bin' directory here: https://tecplot.azureedge.net/produc...esa&rhsyns=%20

That said, I've not seen Windows users have this issue before. Hopefully updating the graphics drivers will solve the issue, as moving the 'opengl32.dll' will force software rendering and will reduce rendering performance.

If you're still having issues, please contact our support staff: support@tecplot.com.

Thanks,
Scott
