I am trying to open a histogram file using tecplot, however when i try to open it it gives error, what could be the reason.
Error occurred on line 2 near position marked with @ below: ZONES I= 16J@= 16K= 7 DATAPACKING=POINT |

That indicates that the Tecplot ASCII format is incorrect. It appears that you may need to add spaces and "ZONES" should be "ZONE":
ZONE I= 16 J= 16 K= 7 DATAPACKING=POINT What application wrote this file? It seems that the application may have to be updated to export Tecplot ASCII files correctly. See the Data Format Guide here: https://www.tecplot.com/products/tecplot-360/#docs If you're still having problems, I'd suggest contacting our support staff. Scott |
