Hi,
I'd like to be able to show the values of a variable at specific coordinates of my surface solution (3D Cartesian plot) in Tecplot 360. I know how to Probe and Probe At, but is there a way to show the values as labels pointing to the specific point on the surface it corresponds to? Similar to the Plot -> Label Points and Cells option but at specific points rather than every ith node/cell. Thanks. |

Hi Kate,
The fastest, easiest way is to navigate to Plot > Label Points and Cells > Show Node Labels (or Show Cell Labels if that's closer to the values you want) > and change this to "show variable value" rather than "show node labels". Then choose the variable of interest. If you want more specific values, you can try probing, then using text boxes to display the info. If this isn't exactly what you want, send an email to support@tecplot.com and I can look further into it. Cheers. |
