I try to see the velocity counters in a certain longitudinal profile of a channel-say in a certain depth- but I can't see them(In tech-plot). Any ideas?

if you want to see profile, you need to use macro to extract profile in an exact diemnsion. if you want to see countor, you should use slice
if your tecplot picture has problem it is usual when you extract file from other soft like fluent
