Converting *.CDB files to a mesh format

Hi all,

how can I convert a CDB file to a mesh? I need an STL file. OBJ works as well. Simply a neutral polygonal format.
Which tool usually exports CDB files. Is that Icem CFD?

Thanks!

Gerd

Greetings Gerd and welcome to the forum!

Knowing what application created the ".CDB" files would be helpful, or at least the description given for that file when you exported/saved it.
Because one of the possible definitions for ".CDB" is CD database for audio CDs... which I don't think is what you've got.

Best regards,
Bruno

CDB File

Sounds like it may have been generated by ANSYS Simulation software
