Question How to plot streamelines and contours

Dear anyone,

I am a student. Using the DSMC method, I try to describe the gas flows. In this context, I need to plot the streamlines with the temperature contours as in the attached picture from the the values of T(x,y) and vx(x,y) and Vy (x,y).

I interpret your question as a general type, and I believe the image you provide was made by Tecplot. Accordingly, you may find that watching the tutorials on this page of benefit: http://www.tecplot.com/blog/category/video/ starting with the one titled “Streamtraces on a Slice”.

You can use scalar displayer in the scene and plot a countour plo similary stremline displayer for plotting stremline
