Hi,
I have a 3D vane geometry and I would like to plot the surface temperature in 2D. Do you have any advice on how to do this with paraview, ensight or tecplot? Thanks in advance! |

I believe you are looking to create a 2D contour plot of temperature on vane’s surface. This video tutorial titled “Understanding Volume Surfaces” may be of help for the task: http://www.tecplot.com/blog/2016/03/04/understanding-volume-surfaces/

Hi,
Thanks for your answer! I do not want to colour the surface, but I want to project this on a 2D plane. Can I do this with paraview? I would like to create something like this (from your box example): http://images.google.fr/imgres?imgur...h=662&biw=1280 |
