I would like to time average the CFD data either in Tecplot or Visit or any other SW. I have saved CFD data in the form of velocity field (U & V) after certain time steps. I want to do time-averaging the velocity field, then wish to plot vectors and stream function. How can I do that either in Tecplot or VisIT. The output data is from an in-house CFD code.

Use surface monitor to calculate average values of required velocity.
