Default Postprocessing the simulation output VTU file with Python

Hello, I want to explore more in my VTU file (attached) besides using Paraview, I try to write a Python script (attached) to read my VTU file, like store all the results to lists, so I can do some analysis.

I have tried both two packages from this link,

and they don’t work for me. Anyone can please provide a good package?

I have found this package named Vedo to be very good for VTK operations -- not sure how it works for VTU, but worth trying.

You can also checkout VTUinterface for I/O. It uses the standard VTK wrapper for Python, but is simpler to use and also has some added functionalities.
