* What’s the opportunity?

To further sustain and accelerate its growth, NUMECA is looking for a Mesh 
Generation & GUI Software Engineer, to join the NUMECA International team 
based in Brussels. NUMECA could also propose a research position, allowing 
the candidate to work towards a Phd in collaboration with a University.

* What will you do?

In this role, you will be involved in the development and enhancement of a 
state-of-the art unstructured mesh generation tools, integrating and 
combining different existing meshing approaches into the innovative 
interface of OMNIS™. 
You will be in charge of development of the graphical user interface of the 
developed solutions collaborating with our Products & Applications teams. 
You will develop a strong interaction with support and customer team to have 
development answering to customer request.

You will also contribute to developing CAD and meshing utilities as well as 
advanced mesh generation algorithms.

large range of applications: turbomachinery, aerospace, automotive, marine 
applications… You will have the possibility to work on the interface of the 
two state-of-the-art mesh generation tools (surface to volume and volume to 
surface) with the opportunity to create completely new innovative 

* Who and what are we looking for from you?

- Master's Degree in Engineering, Physics, Applied mathematics or Computer 
Science is a prerequisite
- Good knowledge of object oriented programming
- Good experience with C++ programming and software development
- Knowledge of Python, Qt/Qml and of Agile methodology
- Prior experience in the development of user interface is an asset
- Good knowledge of OpenGL, GPU programming, multithreading and distributed 
parallel implementation is a plus
- 3 years of experience is a plus
- Knowledge of computational geometry and grid generation is a plus
- Fluent English language is a prerequisite for the role
- Dutch and French are a plus.

You should be highly motivated and dynamic, have good communication and 
analytical skills, be a stress-resistant problem solver, be autonomous and a 
team player able to meet the highest quality standards and respect process 
carefully, and ideally have a passion for programming.
