The Environmental Thermo-Fluid Dynamics (ETFD) Lab 
(https://web1.eng.famu.fsu.edu/~nyaghoobian/) at Florida State University has 
multiple open Ph.D. positions for Fall 2023 to conduct fundamental research in 
computational fluid dynamics (CFD) areas and turbulence relevant to environmental 
problems. Research projects will involve interdisciplinary investigations of 
various transport phenomena in the atmospheric boundary layer with a focus on 
natural disasters and/or human health.

Applicants with M.S. in Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil Engineering, or other 
relevant disciplines with a background in programming and/or CFD are encouraged to 
apply.
