What you’ll do:

As a Simulation CFD Thermoflow Lead, you will be part of a team that drives 
digital transformation in developing, structuring and integrating the use of 
simulations in the product creation process, with the goal to develop better 
product at a faster pace, more efficiently and committed to quality for a better 
consumer experience. The Simulation Hub team within PT (Product Technology) is 
looking for a dynamic, intellectually curious, team-oriented individual to lead 
thermo-flow CFD simulation. The Simulation Thermoflow CFD Lead will be driving 
global, cross-product areas and cross-function initiatives; the key objectives 
are:

developing most advanced and effective thermo-flow CFD technologies and 
methodologies;

securing systematic transfer to adoption of validated thermo-flow CFD test 
methods in product development;

growing best-in-class competence in thermo-flow simulation CFD within the 
simulation community of practices.

In detail, you will:

Manage and drive Technology Roadmap (TRM); ensure TRM contributes and aligns to 
business strategy; secure adoption of TRM outputs in product development with 
Simulation Adoption leadership.

Oversee entire project portfolio in the Simulations CFD-Thermoflow area.

Identify and setup strategic external partnerships to advance TRM and execution 
in adoption in close cooperation with Simulation leadership.

Grow and lead cross-function community in the Simulations CFD-Thermoflow area.

Ensure proper management of simulations quality assurance, projects and 
resources for CFD-Thermoflow  adoption first time, including developing 
guidelines and specifications to expand simulation test books.

Define best CFD application SW tools and use in Electrolux simulation ecosystem 
IT infrastructure in close cooperation with Adoption and Ecosystem 
infrastructure leadership.

Create, validate and use of thermoflow analysis models (fast, accurate, reliable 
and affordable) in product development. Some key focus areas will be on:

Humid air management (eg: evaporation, condensation, icing)

Multi-physics: cooking, cleaning, drying

Particles flows (eg: in air and/or water)

Test and contribute to adopt SPDM (Simulation Product Data Management) in 
thermo-flow analysis models (PLM, DOE, optimization and statistical analysis).

Supervise competence team activities, follow-up on resources and budget; may 
lead a team.

Manages overall communication and relationship with stakeholders to meet targets 
and ensure alignment.

Asses Intellectual Property scenarios and opportunities for protection.

Who you are:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering with MSc in thermoflow engineering and PhD is 
an appreciated plus.

Demonstrated experience in managing complex technology development projects in 
R&D environment.

Externally recognized as best-in-class competence (e.g. IP generated, 
international institutions & standardization bodies, published papers).

Demonstrated track-of history in leading people and delivering results (e.g. 
value-adding projects, technologies put in production, etc.).

Deep knowledge of simulation tools technologies, market and its evolution (eg: 
Siemens-Simcenter STAR-CCM+, Altair-Hyperworks, 3DS-3D experience, Ansys, ESI, 
Comsol, others).

CAD, PLM and SPDM kwnoledge and reated tools (eg: 3DS CatiA, Siemens TeamCenter, 
3DS 3DX-PLTF, Siemens HEEDS, ESTECO Modefrontier).

Advanced English.

Projects/program management Agile and Waterfall is desirable.
