Position Description:

Biomedical Engineering Laboratory is seeking a highly motivated and talented 
postdoctoral researcher to join our interdisciplinary team. The project is 
related with experimental and numerical evaluation of novel developed implants 
for TAVI (transcatheter aortic valve implantation).

The successful candidate will contribute to pioneering research in computational 
biomechanics with a strong focus to transfer results into clinical practice. 

Responsibilities include developing and maintaining robust numerical models of 
blood flow in aortic valve before and after TAVI treatment and experimental 
validation.

This position offers an exceptional opportunity to work at the intersection of 
computational science, biomechanics, and clinical translation, addressing 
challenges in cardiovascular mini-invasive surgery.

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop numerical models of blood flow simulation using fluid-structure 
interaction.
* Writing papers (Q1/Q2).


Minimum Qualifications:
* Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, 
or related fields.
* Experience in numerical FSI modelling using commercial software (Comsol, 
Ansys, FlowVision etc.).
* Background in experimental studies is a strong plus.
* Good communication skills in English.
