Role Overview
We are looking for a Building Physics Engineer passionate about sustainability
and computational design. The role involves developing simulation models,
integrating CFD and thermal modeling, and supporting our AI-driven net-zero
platform.
Key Responsibilities
•Conduct thermal comfort, energy performance, and daylight simulations.
•Develop Python scripts and workflows using EnergyPlus, OpenFOAM, or Radiance.
•Build and validate CFD models for air flow and façade performance.
•Analyze urban microclimates (UHI, wind flow, shading).
•Support R&D on our AI-driven net-zero design platform.
•Collaborate with sustainability consultants, MEP engineers, and architects.
Required Qualifications
•Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
•Master’s in Thermal Engineering, Building Physics, Sustainable Design, or
Energy Systems.
•Strong fundamentals in heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and building science.
•Proficiency in Python (must-have).
•Experience with CFD (OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent, or similar).
•Familiarity with EnergyPlus, DesignBuilder, or IES-VE.
•Knowledge of ASHRAE, CIBSE, or EN standards.
Bonus Skills
•Experience with Grasshopper / Ladybug Tools.
•Familiarity with LCA / embodied carbon tools.
•Knowledge of AI/ML in building design.
•Experience in tropical climate and passive cooling strategies.
