B-Fluid Ltd. (Buildings Fluid Dynamics Consultancy) is unique engineering consulting company based in Dublin where a team of fluid dynamics and aerodynamics experts combine experimental airflow testing and advanced numerical modelling. The aim is to predict and simulate the behavior of fluid flows within the built environment to support performance-based designs, and to achieve challenging constructions and engineering goals. 

We are recruiting for an Engineer with significant CFD knowledge to join our growing company.

Job Requirements:

- A master’s degree or PhD in an engineering discipline/Physics

- Previous experience in fire simulation, wind or façade modelling and HVAC will be an advantage

- Extensive Computational Fluid Dynamics modelling knowledge using programs such as FDS, OpenFOAM and Ansys

- Understanding of turbulence, heat and mass transfer

- A good working knowledge of fundamental thermodynamics and fluid dynamics

- Skilled in the meshing of complex geometries (snappyHexMesh, ICEM, AWB unstructured)

- Experience working with one or more of the following softwares: Matlab, FDS, Jasmine, Revit Autodesk, SketchUp, TRISCO, VOLTRA, Pathfinder, PyroSim

- Knowledge of latest building regulation and certification standards

- Demonstrated capabilities in Fluid Dynamics and Thermodynamics modelling, testing, analysis and reporting

- Preparation and running of the CFD cases, analyse the results and write reports

- Experience in working as part of a team in schedule driven multiple discipline projects

- Strong interpersonal, communications and presentation skills

- Fluent in English 

- Hold an EU passport. Must be legally authorized to work in Ireland.
