***EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Sustainable Sound Futures***
Are you looking to pursue a career in research, either in industry or academia?
The University of Bristol is offering seven fully funded PhD scholarships
starting in Autumn 2026 through the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in
Sustainable Sound Futures. As part of this programme, you will gain deep,
specialist knowledge in aeroacoustics and aerodynamics, together with a broad
set of transferable skills and knowledge of how sound fits into industry,
society and the public sector.
Available projects are offered in partnership with Industry sector leaders
(Safran SLS, Leonardo Helicopters, Onera, Accuris, etc). Research areas include
Aeroacoustics, Aerodynamics, Fluid Dynamics, Turbulence, Experimental Methods,
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
