Join Safran Tech as a digital development and integration engineer dedicated to
CFD simulation tools for turbomachinery applications. Your main mission will be
to contribute to the development and optimization of the SoNICS code, the
Group’s future reference software for 3D aerodynamic component design. This
position involves implementing advanced numerical functionalities—solver,
pre/post-processing, and detailed validation—to address the specific needs of
Safran companies.
You will work to ensure the robustness, efficiency, and consistency of digital
developments, while playing a coordinating role with ONERA, Safran entities, and
academic partners. Your expertise in scientific programming (Python, C, Fortran,
Cuda, MPI), high performance computing (HPC), and your proficiency with Linux
environments will be essential. You will also be responsible for maintaining
skills, technical best practices, and methodologies within the Safran Tech
reference team dedicated to SoNICS.
This role offers a strong collaborative dynamic, strategic technical missions,
and the opportunity to participate in innovative national and international
projects. The ideal candidate should hold at least a Master’s degree (PhD
preferred), have significant experience in CFD software development, excellent
interpersonal skills, strong autonomy, and fluency in English. Occasional travel
within France and abroad may be required for scientific projects or conferences.
