Matlab for Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Simulation
Matlab is short for Matrix laboratory and is a self contained and programming language and environment developed and licensed by the Mathworks Inc. Most notable is its ease of use, matrix treatment, built-in editor and REPL (read-eval-print loop). An fully compatible open source alternative, GNU Octave, is freely available. Although Matlab is considered a very slow and limiting programming language or system it is still possible to use for computational fluid dynamics CFD simulations.
