hi,
thank you i have generated the hex mesh...and transferred it to CFX ...I also need a tutorial for ICEM ???

Far October 28, 2012 04:31

No.

For CFD only first option. Second option is for FEA as ICEM is also capable to output mesh structural solver.

Hi sir,
i have imported the geometry in the CFX model but he transition curves are not coming in the mesh as in the solution also it is not taking the transition region. please help me out i have attached a .jpeg:confused::confused::(:(Attachment 16435

what do mean by transition region? It is also graphic issue, but if there is some geometric feature(s) which is not present in the CFX-Pre case then we have solution in ICEM.

hi,
yes u are right it is a graphic issue only it seems ..and after running the complete solver if i visualize the cut plane i am obtaining the results ....of my interest .. actually this a problem of air flowing through the changing cross-section duct as u can see from the image so i am was talking about the transition from circular to that of the rectangular region. thanx for ur help ....i have attached some of my results....:)
