Imposed wall flux and imposed wall temperature
 

Hi everybody,

Can anyone help me with my probleme please?

I applied a wall temperature (T=313K) as a boundary condition in a mixed convection probleme. everything was okey and the result is perfect:

But when I try to impose a wall heat flux, the code does not react to the heat flux imposed even if I impose a great value ( q= 700 W/m2) the temperature of all the domain remain at 288K or 289K :

Could you post a picture of the boundary conditions you have used for both cases?
One thing that caught my eye in the second picture is that the temperature is almost
the same through the plate while in the first one there is a clear distribution.
